Abstract
Ruscogenin, Neoruscogenin and a new steroid genin were isolated and identified from
the roots and rhizomes of Ruscus hypoglossum L. by means of physicochemical constants, IR–spectra and acetyl derivatives. Sitosterol
was also isolated and the mass-spectroscopy analysis proved that it is a mixture of
three homologues, namly – Sitosterol, Stigmasterol and Kampesterol.
Zusammenfassung
Aus den Wurzeln und Rhizomen von Ruscus hypoglossum L. (Ruscus alexandrinus Motte) wurden Ruscogenin, Neoruscogenin und ein Steroid–Sapogenin isoliert und mit Hilfe
der physikalisch-chemischen Konstanten, IR–Spektren und Acetylderivate identifiziert.
Es wurde auch Sitosterol isoliert, das sich mit Hilfe der massenspektroskopischen
Analyse als ein Gemisch aus drei Homologen – Sitosterol, Stigmasterol und Kampesterol
– erwies.
